Brittany Murphy’s Husband, Simon Monjack, Found Dead

Just five months after the untimely death of Brittany Murphy, her husband, Simon Monjack has been found dead. The screenwriter was found in his Hollywood Hills home earlier tonight.

Seargant Louie Lozano said, “We have detectives at [the] scene. They are conducting their investigation. Once we have further information, we will provide it.”

Brittany’s mother found Simon unconcious in the master bedroom at around 9:30pm and called 911. Paramedics arrived on scene, but were unable to revive him. He was pronounced DOA.

So far, his cause of death is unknown. Some previously suggested that Monjack was trying to profit from his wife’s death, but he pulled her foundation website before rumors got worse. My first thought upon hearing about his death was to think that he committed suicide. This is unconfirmed, however. There have been no details surrounding his death as of yet.

Maybe he died of a broken heart. In photos, they seemed to be the unconventional couple, but they appeared to be in love. The photographs that he took of her were just beautiful, as well. Now they can be together. It’s sad, really. So much controversy surrounded him upon the launch of the Brittany Murphy Foundation and maybe it all just got to him. Poor guy. RIP.
