Britney Spears Slammed By Glee’s Matthew Morrison
Right after Madonna’s episode of “Glee” aired, Britney Spears’ manager Adam Leber started questioning as to whether or not there should be an episode dedicated to the pop princess.

Adam’s comments sparked an entire campaign aimed at getting Britney her own episode, but apparently Matthew Morrison doesn’t share their enthusiasm.
Adam tweeted, “Do you guys want to see a Britney Spears episode of GLEE? Thoughts?” and of course, it started the “#BritneySpearsGlee” trending topic.
During the White House Correspondents’ Association Dinner on May 1st, Matthew was asked about his opinion of the possibility of a Britney Spears episode. He said, “That’s a rumor her manager started. I hope our show doesn’t go along that route.”
Why the hate Matthew? Britney has achieved world success as a pop singer and deserves to be honored for her achievements. Just because she’s had her ups and downs, doesn’t mean you can rag on her like that.
What do you think?

“That’s a rumor her manager started. I hope our show doesn’t go along that route.”

I think he’s right. she had a few hits but nothing decent for years and her music has no substance and she hasn’t performed live in a long time she just mimes!
The Madonna episode was the worst episode on the show so far. The songs were good, but the story sucked. That’s what you get when you try to write a story around a bunch of songs.
And that’s why Mama Mia is the worst musical in the history of the world (save your insults, people, I saw it on stage twice, in NYC and LA, and it SUCKED BALLS).
Back to Glee: You must let the story lead the music, not the other way around, so no more pop icon shows, please.
the icon shows feel gimmicky… what would be the point, within the show’s world, for the glee club to do britney… what possible lesson/inspiration could there be for students?
How is saying I hope the show doesn’t go along that route slamming britany spears ??
