Adam Lambert Discusses Bill Kaulitz Style Copycat Rumors
Adam Lambert and Tokio Hotel singer Bill Kaulitz have been compared to each other quite a bit. Considering that they share a love of black mascara, dark clothes and all things sparkle and spike, it’s no wonder that people are calling them out for their likenesses to each other.
A fan tweeted that he loved Adam’s Twitter profile picture, to which another replied, “I think that @adamlambert’s profile pic is a big copy of Bill Kaulitz style”. Apparently that got Adam’s feathers ruffled, because he took to his Twitter to knock down the Bill/Adam copycat rumors.
He said, “Ha. Was inspired by Elvis. I was rockin this hairdo when bill still had his lions mane…all this copycat talk is dumb. Hahaha. I’m gonna incite a fan riot. Such fun. Been wearing eye makeup and nail polish since that boy was like 12 or something… No ones copying… Just so happen to have similar taste. Relaaaaaaaaax folks. spend your energy more wisely.”
It’s not such a big deal that we have to call names, though. So they both like makeup and leather, that doesn’t mean that either is copying from the other, does it?

Honestly…if Bill had a twitter he probably wouldn’t respond to tweets like those. Contributing to draaamaaa on the internet isn’t really his ~*thing*~, I don’t think.
Bill K fans keep making a big deal about it on twitter. If they were able to view LA nightlife over the last 10 or so years–they’d come across many “copying” their hero. When they saw Bill, the look was new to his German fans and they can’t seem to grow past this. I like both Bill and Adam, as well thousands of others who have rocked this style.

Bill Kaulitz has been wearing makeup and coloring his hair and painting his nails since he was 9 years old. Bill Kaulitz was doing this all first than adam lambert.
And Bill Kaulitz had this style first, Bill is original and developed his style and then adam lambert copied him and tries to make people believe it’s his look.
Bill Kaulitz is famous with this look since 2005 and Adam lambert only since 2009. And Adam is a Bill Kaulitz fan.

For one Adam is 10 times Hotter than bill..he rocks the look wayyyy better and he’s been dressing like that for longer..plus bill is a sucky ass singer..horrible performer and this guy is seriously a chick..he’s demented looking and Adams amazingly hot!
All I care about is Tokio Hotel’s music. Bill Kaulitz is the most talented songwriter I know, and he is the only one who has touched my heart with his words.
If Adam finds inspiration in Bill, then that’s ok with me. Bill’s style is actually very original because there are noone with that exact style out there today. He doesn’t look anything like David Bowie and Boy George like some people are saying. He created his own style when he was a kid, and he still does’ the same style today. think that is pretty incredible.
Geez! This is a fashion world, I even didn’t realize Adam Lambert and Bill Kaulitz have some slight similarity until ppl compare it, but ppl they are totally different if you watch carefully! Adam’s style is more open for his own unique style and Bill’s style is more concentrating for his own unique style. By the way, I don’t know both Adam and Bill agree with my comments or not, but haha I do know again I have four eyes and I’m always rite!:)`

okay, Both these men have similar styles but are certainly not copying. If someone has the same jeans then they have the same jeans, clothing wansn’t specifically made to be for just one person. I think that it just so happens that they have the same tastes and styles. Even though Bill started to rock it hen he was a kid doesn’t mean that Adam didnt think about it (he was probably self conscious about it since he didnt have a lot of friends in school). You can’t just say “oh this person copied this person”. No, they didnt, they just have the same styles. So let’s chill about this and not start a fan riot about the awesome styles of two awesome artists. These guys are awesome let’s support them. ^_^

Yeah I dont know, and I honestly don’t care much. All I know is that I love Bill Kaulitz – he is like my god. He is original and everything for me. If Adam is inspired by that, then so be it…..even if SOMETIMES he seems to copy a few things. Its true that Adam has a huge crush on Bill. That might be part of it. Other than that, they sometimes have similar styles….which Billa OWNS.
