Carey Mulligan was not on the arm of her current squeeze, Shia LaBeouf, for this year’s Oscars. Nope, she was openly flirting with “The Hurt Locker” star, Jeremy Renner.
Just in the last week, Carey was snapped sharing a smooch with Shia on the streets of New York. On Sunday, she was sharing a loving embrace with Jeremy. He held on to her tightly, which makes me think that she wanted to trade Shia in for some new lovin’.

It was rumored that Jeremy was trying to cop a feel (figuratively) of Jessica Simpson, but he quickly denied that, only to say that his mother and she share the same hairdresser, Ken Paves.
He did say, however, that he is single — and looking. Just don’t look at Carey, she’s taken, dude. She and Shia make a really cute couple together. And on a side note, how cute is her Oscars dress? I loved it!

Jeremy Renner is an acting nominee this year and his movie won best picture. It couldn’t possibly be that she was congratulating him for his film’s best picture win that night, could it?
Furthermore, if you’re going to mess around with someone else, would you really do it at a place(Academy Awards/Vanity Fair Oscar party), where a ton of reporters and media people from all over the country are attending. No! Use your head, people!
Oh and Renner is mere months away from turning 40!
