Neil Patrick Harris To Star In ‘Smurfs’ Movie

According to “Deadline Hollywood”, Neil Patrick Harris has been tapped to star in the big screen adaption of “The Smurfs”.

NPH won’t actually be voicing one of the characters of the smurfs, but is set to play the lead live-action role.

This is going to rock! I love this guy, he’s hilarious. Filming for the movie begins in April, when NPH will be on hiatus from “How I Met Your Mother”.

The movie is set for a July 29, 2011 release.
