Mo’Nique was turning heads her her performance in the film “Precious” and created a moment for herself at the Golden Globes. She gave one of the best acceptance speeches of the night. Too bad that was all overshadowed by her legs.

As she walked the red carpet of the awards, she lifted her dress a bit to avoid tripping. Photogs snapped away at her unshaven legs and of course, gossip ensued. In effort to combat the tabloids mocking her legs, she talked about her adherence to shaving openly.

“He loves the hairy legs, and if Sid likes the hairy legs, there you go,” she said. “I tried shaving one time, and it was so uncomfortable and painful,” Mo’Nique said, explaining why she chooses not to shave. “I said never again would I do that to myself,” she said. “I’m 42, and I’m very hairy.”

Mo’Nique also talked about her odd attitude toward her marriage.

“Could Sid have sex outside of his marriage with me?” the ‘Precious’ star asked. “Yes. That’s not a deal-breaker. That’s not something that would make us say, ‘Pack your things and let’s end the marriage. What if it’s 20 times? So what?” she said. “We’ve been best friends for over 25 years, and we truly know who we are. Oftentimes, people get into marriages and they don’t know who they’re laying next to. I’m very comfortable and secure with my husband.”

Wow. I can’t say that I’d be as open to my future husband (Jake Gyllenhaal, Ryan Reynolds or Hugh Jackman) going to all Tiger Woods sex maniac.
