Lindsay Lohan is following up her super wonderful job as Ungaro’s Creative Director, to designing handbags for none other than Ed Hardy. Eat your heart out Jon Gosselin!

A source said, “Lindsay and the design team at Ed Hardy have mutual friends, and they knew she was interested in looking for a handbag license and partner. They thought she’d be a good fit and so did she.”

Has it really come to this? The girl once starred in “Mean Girls” and “The Parent Trap”, but has been reduced to skulls, hearts and flowers?

Another source said, “As of last week, there are three collections in development and numerous more are expected. Lindsay is very directly involved with the project, and she’s always pulling things online and from magazines for ideas.”

I guess that clothing line venture never panned out? I wonder if she’s going to “borrow” some more ideas from budding fashionistas? You know that’s how she rolls.
