Johnny Depp Wants to Quit Filming ‘The Tourist’
Like we didn’t see this one coming!
Johnny Depp‘s longtime gal pal has no intention of joining the trail of brokenhearted Hollywood ladies left crying to Oprah Winfrey after Angelina Jolie stole their men.
So when Vanessa Paradis found out her “Pirates of the Caribbean” stud and Jolie were to shoot a passionate love scene in their new movie “The Tourist,” she ordered Depp to find another gig.
But by all appearances, Depp has not been able to cut himself out of the shoot. Filming started last month and Depp and Jolie were spied sharing a laugh on set at the Palazzo Pisani Moretta in Venice on Tuesday.
In the flick, Jolie plays an Interpol agent who seduces a tourist, played by Depp, in order to flush out a criminal she had a fling with in the past.
Paradis “found out that there was a real long and intense love scene between [Depp] and Jolie,” a source close to the project said.
“He’s currently trying to [get out of the movie], but I don’t know if he’s succeeded. But he’s trying and they’re talking about replacing him with [Jolie's partner] Brad Pitt or Leonardo DiCaprio.”
Paradis, Depp’s partner of 12 years with whom she has two kids, doesn’t have to look deep into Jolie’s past to find reasons to worry.
Honestly, if I was her…and not to be mean, but I’d worry too.
In the movie, Johnny Depp plays an American tourist visiting Italy to mend a broken heart. Angelina Jolie plays Elise, an extraordinary woman who deliberately crosses his path and they screw. The screw part is what Paradis doesn’t like.

There is a tempest In The Tea Pot name Jennifer Aniston who probably called his wife! Depp should dump Vanessa how could someone with 2 small Children and 12 years have such little faith in her man, if a man loves you no woman can take him away Brad Pitt in the last photo -up with Jen looked pained and digusted if it wasn’t Angelina it was going to be another woman Pitt was on his way out and neither he nor Jen had children.
Hasn’t anyone heard the story of Sampson and Deliah? A wicked woman can destroy any man if she sets her mind to it. I’m with Vanessa 100% for demanding Johnny quit the movie now! For whatever reason they are not married; it appears they love each other and have a beautiful family together. I just hope it’s not too late already… Even if JD has to take a financial loss, that would be better than having the Jolie witch destroy another relationship. I’m sure she sees this as just another notch under her panty strap! In addition, once Brad has been cut loose, I hope Jen has enough dignity to never give him a second chance. She’s so much better than that!
reason for Depp not to do the movie….he is a much better actor then Angela Jolie. She gets the parts for sex (sex scene) just short of a porn star. No one notices, she has no acting ability. just a great publicity manager. Second reason(not that its necessary, I like Johnny Depp I would have a hard time injoying his movies if he sells out to being a publicity stunt for Anjela Jolie.
I do not belive Paradis demanded this for a second! Angelina has been true blue to Pitt for the last five years and it is obvious she is in love with him by the way she LOOKS at him. There is NO way she is going to give up her life with Brad Pitt and their children for Johnny Depp. She did not steal Pitt away from boring Aniston anyway…that marriage was already on the rocks because Pitt wanted a familyl and Aniston wanted her sorry acting career. Angelina also did not break up Billy Bob Thornton and Laura Dern, in spite of Dern’s claims. Thornton said a year or so ago that he and Dern were no longer engaged by the time he met up with Angelina…and that Dern is lying when she was still together with Thornton. Depp has always appeared to be his own man, with a deep love for Paradis, and I just think this is untrue gossip, most likely put out by Aniston fans.
This story is just BS and PR. No one, man or woman, can “steal” someone away from another person. Both parties have to agree. Johnny Depp strikes me as a very saavy man who’s head can’t be turned unless that’s what he wants. I’m so tired of these silly stories.
Angelina Jolie is a whore and I don’t blame Jonny Depp’s woman one bit.
I admire Johnny Depp as a man and as an Actor. I believe that he has very firm ideas on life and the films that he stars in. His woman Vanessa Paradis has strong views as well,and if i were her I would not let Johnny act in a movie with Angelina Jolie because of her history and especially because it includes a long highly-charged sex scene.
All I can say is GOOD for Vanessa, I think it is important to stand up for what or who you love. The thought of Angie sinking her claws into Johnny Depp makes me ill. She is a baby factory and a succubus. Brad should run…

He wouldn’t have gotten a 100 yards near the contract nevermind that wench. It’s not that I wouldn’t trust him, it’s just that I wouldn’t want him to bring that stench into the home where my children sleep after being with Jolie. Plus, anything she does will tank and Johnny is far too good of an actor to give her any screen time with him. I wonder how long she had to ahem…sit under her agents desk to get him to move heaven and earth to get Johnny on to this film. She’s repulsive and Johnny wouldn’t cheat on Vanessa so she has nothing to worry about with that skank…it’s just good business if he leaves the movie.
Stop playing it on the other woman. If the man wasn’t playing, it wouldn’t matter. It does TAKE two to tango. Depp seems like his own man, and although Jolie is far more beautiful than Vanessa, a man wouldn’t be with her for 12 years unless he was in it till the end. Let the man be in the movie with Jolie, I have been waiting for these two to act together forever.

All I can say, is that there are alot of insecure women out there that appear to not have any confidence in themselves and their sex a peel. For goodness sake, if the man’s head is turned then he’s not worth keeping. Honestly Ladies have a little faith in your appeal and your chosen mate’s faithfulness.

this story is such bull, no one can ever TAKE some one away. not if they are truly in love…Brad and Jen were over long before he and Angelina ever met.
The insecurity doesn’t bode well for the long term future of this relationship where a woman feels so insecure as to demand her partner leave his employment, just because she’s feeling threatened by another womans past!

Since he has been with Vanessa in 1999, Johnny has done kissing/love scenes with Charlize Theron, Emmanuelle Seigner, Christina Ricci, Penelope Cruz, Keira Knightley, Eva Mendes, Helena Bonham Carter and Marion Cotillard.
