It’s not mean spirited to question his sexuality. Anyone who does is immediately attacked by a bunch of horny girls who would kill to marry Joe. But answer this: if you love him so much, would you really let him go through life unhappy, thinking that all his fans would be devastated if he came out? What a horrible thing to do to someone. Celebrities are people like you and me. They seem so reachable because we see them and hear about them all the time. But that doesn’t mean that you will be his “one and only”. Chances are, you won’t even meet him. Let him live the life he was born to live and stop putting so many expectations on his sexuality. Coming out of the closet is a difficult experience, but it’s even worse when you think the whole world will be disappointed by the news. You should just be happy that your fellow human being has found happiness (whether it be with a man or a woman).
