Britney Spears‘ father has apparently banned the singer from talking to her former drinking buddy, Lindsay Lohan.

[A loud applause is heard across the land]

Jamie Spears — who’s Britney’s co-conservator, meaning he’s in control of all her affairs and pushes her around — apparently hit the roof when he found out his daughter had been speaking on the phone with Lindsay.

“The trouble started when Lindsay reached out to Britney for advice on getting her career back on track.

They simply chatted by phone — but when Britney mentioned it to Jamie, he exploded.

He instantly phoned Lindsay’s managers and told them he would NOT tolerate further attempts to contact his daughter.

Britney’s so totally humiliated — she feels like she’s 13 again. It’s embarrassing for her that she’s 28 years old, but her dad gets to tell her who her friends will be.

On the other hand, Jamie’s trying to keep what he deems to be bad influences away from his daughter — and Lindsay certainly qualifies.”

Well, that may be the first thing Jamie’s done that I approve of.

Keep Lindsay Lohan away from Britney Spears, she’s doing just fine!
