I think someone might have tapped into the Charlie-Sheen-Crazies-Keg a little too much! Sheen’s tv co-star, Jon Cryer, reportedly fears a hitman is after him and that worst of all, he thinks its his ex-wife who is behind the plot.

Cryer has been embroiled in a bitter custody fight with his ex, Sarah Trigger, for some time now, and things have gotten so nasty that he believes she hired a hit man to snuff him out! Trigger was arrested child neglect in May of 2009.

The most recent episode of his tv show “Two and a Half Men” was filmed without a studio audience present after he received a “significant” threat – a menacing phone call – while on the set of his show. Must have been quite the war or words, because now the FBI is investigating.

Sources tell us the FBI has been on the case for a week. As far as we know the agency has no suspects. The FBI declined comment.

This weeks show will also be taped without audience members, but sources also told TMZ it’s for creative reasons, not safety. Cryer’s ex told the FBI that she was not aware of any threat against him since he first reported it last week. He has apparently said that the threat has eased lately and he feels more secure now.
