Well, the worlds gene pool just got a little prettier. Tom Brady has drafted a pint-size player for future backyard ball games as the New England Patriot Quarterback and supermodel wife, Gisele Bündchen, have welcomed a son. Earlier this month, Brady said he was the only one that knew the baby’s sex during an interview with “WEEI Sports Radio,” but Gisele wanted it to stay a surprise.

“I’m really the only one that knows,” Brady, 32, said. “She’s a very intelligent woman. I wanted to find out and she didn’t, so she said, ‘Go ahead.’ It will be a surprise for her.”

Details of the baby’s birth, including a name and when exactly he was born, have not yet been released, but Brady is scheduled to address reporters sometime today. For those keeping score, his is the first child for Bundchen; Brady has a 2-year-old son named John from a previous relationship with ex Bridget Moynahan. Congratulation’s to Gisele and Tom – I bet that’s one beautiful boy!
