Screen Actors Guild Award Nominations

screen-actors-guild

It’s award season! Can you feel it in the air? The Golden Globe nominations are already creating Oscar predictions, Ryan Seacrest is polishing his lifts and red carpets are being shampooed into a glory befitting of Angelina Jolies pumps.

The Screen Actors Guild Awards Nominees were announced today and basically the SAG awards are actors patting each other on the back. Regardless, it’s a chance to flaunt fashionable creations and I hate to equate it to the prom, but that is pretty much what it is. I am pulling for Meryl Streep for her performance in “Julie and Julia.” I have to thank for my new favorite catch phrase of: “Hotter than a stiff cock.”

Outstanding Performance by a Male Actor in a Leading Role

JEFF BRIDGES / Bad Blake – “CRAZY HEART” (Fox Searchlight Pictures)

COLIN FIRTH / George Falconer – “A SINGLE MAN” (The Weinstein Company)

MORGAN FREEMAN / Nelson Mandela – “INVICTUS” (Warner Bros. Pictures)

JEREMY RENNER / Staff Sgt. William James – “THE HURT LOCKER” (Summit Entertainment)

Outstanding Performance by a Female Actor in a Leading Role

SANDRA BULLOCK / Leigh Anne Tuohy – “THE BLIND SIDE” (Warner Bros. Pictures)

HELEN MIRREN / Sofya – “THE LAST STATION” (Sony Pictures Classics)

The list is super long so you can read the rest of the SAG Awards Nominations List After the Cut…
