Michael Lohan, the not-exactly-shy father of Lindsay Lohan, was arrested yesterday on Long Island after violating a restraining order taken out by an ex-girlfriend.

Despite a judge forbidding Michael Lohan from “trying to communicate by phone” with Erin Muller, he did anyway, TMZ reports.

Muller sought the order in April after Lohan threatened to kill her, and himself, when she tried to break off the relationship.
