Carrie Underwood is Engaged

NHL star Mike Fisher is apparently not afraid of Carrie Underwood and her Louisville Slugger. The two are officially engaged to be wed.

Fisher, a player for the Ottawa Senators, revealed the news a short while ago while prepping for a game against the Boston Bruins.

Fisher confirmed their engagement just moments ago as the Senators prepared for tonight’s game against the Boston Bruins at Scoriabank Place. Responding to questions, he said he popped the question to Underwood on Sunday, but declined to offer any other details at this point.

“It’s true,” said Fisher. “We’re both obviously excited and very happy.”

Puck Bunnies world-wide are no doubt devastated. Oh, and dudes with Dolly Parton complexes.
