The Florida Highway Patrol has just released information regarding Tiger Woods’ accident versus a tree, which actually happened at 2:30 a.m. last night.

He reportedly hit a fire hydrant and then a tree outside of his Isleworth, Florida home, last night. At first, he was said to be seriously injured in the accident, but recent reports suggest that he suffered facial lacerations.

He was taken to Health Central where he was treated. According to reports, upon reaching the hospital a few minute ago, Tiger was not listed as a patient.

The Florida Highway Patrol has claimed that alcohol did not play a part in the accident, but said that the investigation is still underway and charges are pending.

Update: Tiger has since been released from the hospital, with his manager saying that he is fine.

What we’re wondering is why he was in such a hurry to be trying to leave his house in the wee hours of the morning. There were recent rumors surrounding an alleged affair with Rachel Uchitel. Could that be it? Why the rush, Tiger?
