Miley Cyrus Makes Little Girls Wish Come True

If one picture is worth 1,000 words, then one music video must be worth a trillion. Clearly that’s the case as Miley Cyrus sings “The Climb” to a most appreciative fan at the second annual Concert for Hope, which took place Sunday night in Los Angeles.

This year’s event, held at the Staples Center, also starred Demi Lovato and Jesse McCartney.

The sold-out 2008 Concert for Hope raised more than $1.2 million for City of Hope’s cancer research efforts, according to the medical facility’s Web site.

In addition to her performance Sunday, Cyrus is donating $1 from every ticket sold during her current Wonder World Tour. On her previous tour, she raised more than $2 million for City of Hope.

The little girl Miley brought up on stage at The City of Hope concert venue happens to be my only granddaughter (Madison) and my daughter’s only child. Madison was diagnosed last November with stage 4 neuroblastoma. She has done remarkablely well with many Dr.’s fabulous care and treatment
plans. We have been truly blessed with the care
she has recieved and all the many prayers. My Madison truly adores Miley Cyrus and she knows all her songs and loves her TV show. Miley made Madison’s night October 25th and we all thank her for bringing a very special child up to sing with her a song that really is powerful and hits home so very deeply. Madison’s Nana
