By Roberta | October 27, 2009
Adam Lambert’s debut album, “For Your Entertainment” is set to make its debut on November 23rd, but today, he has just revealed the cover art!

Adam is bringing glam back! It’s hot!
What are your thoughts on the cover? Are you digging it? Or do you think he’s too glam? Speak up, Glamberts!!
Rumor has it that Adam is releasing a song called “What Do You Want From Me” as his first single from the album. It is said to be written by Pink and Max Martin.
Of the song, Adam said, “It works on a relationship level, but I also relate to the sense of talking to the public. Like, ‘This whole thing’s a little freaked out,’ but please have faith in me because I won’t disappoint you.”
Can’t wait for its release!

He’s stunning. Absolutely stunning. And polarizing. Oh yes he is that.

Way to Boy George. I was hoping for something more up-to-date. To me this looks like fan art. Lawd, let the music inside be better than the cover!

Uggh!! This looks like one of those cheap velvety posters popular in the 70s…is that the point?? There are so many gorgeous real photos of him…why this?! Hope his songs are better…

This represents the whole essence of Adam. Glam, bold, artistic, original, beautiful, and the list goes on. I like this cover because it represents both a man and a woman, which gives the album a sense of being universal, meaning that it was made for everyone, straight men, women, gay men, etc.

Adam fan: Yes! Cover fan: No!

First, everyone’s a music expert, now everyone’s an art expert. I guess Adam didn’t know he needed to consult with every wannabe on the Internet before making decisions about HIS music career. Just how much time does anyone actually spend looking at cd covers, anyway?

I love it, it’s reminscent of Bowie, it embodies the beauty of male/female, he said he was bringing back glam and did he ever!! I just love that you never know what this beautiful man will do next. Boy he sure knows how to push buttons!!! Love you Adam!!

People have been throwing around words like cheesy and cheap. It is anything but. The photographer Warwick Saint is highly respected and has worked with numerous artists including Lady GaGa who Adam admires and has been called the male version of Miss GaGa. This particular image of Adam is actually very reminiscent of a Lady GaGa photo that was done for “Just Dance”. This cover art is what is missing from music today. GLAMOUR!!!! To many artists look like the fans that buy their CD’s. The artist and the fan have become interchangeable as far as aesthtics and talent. At one time it was not like that, the artist was somebody that the fan only wished they could look and be like. It is obvious that the photo has been touched and re-touched but as the title infers, it’s all “For Your Entertainment!” That being said, I don’t understand why so much emphasis is being put on a photo anyway, the music is what counts and anything Adam sings will be better than most of the “Artists/Singers” (both male and female)of the music industry. As far as male singers are concerned, no one out there boasts the kind of skills Adam Lmabert possesses as a vocalist.
