Whitney Houston Tells Oprah She Was Coked-Out, Never A Crackhead

The interview you have all been waiting for has hit the airwaves. Yes. The Mighty Oprah Winfrey (aka God, herself) sat down for a revealing interview with Whitney Houston.
In this interview, Whitney claims to have held nothing back about her, um, hiatus from the music biz and her tumultuous marriage to Bobby Brown and extensive drug use.
She admits that she and Brown developed a love for the nose candy shortly after Houston’s success in the film ‘The Bodyguard’ back in 1992. After that, she pretty much became a coked-out werewolf and stopped thinking about making music altogether. Instead she focused on the young adulthood she never had by blowing hundreds of thousands of dollars (mostly up her nose).
“She…said that she slipped into a drug-induced spiral because she ‘Had so much money and so much access to what I wanted. I didn’t think about the singing part anymore. I was looking for my young womanhood.’”
But things for the pop diva got a little crazy after a seven-month long bender that she spent watching TV and staying in her pajamas. She and Brown started smoking rock cocaine to combat the affect of the marijuana they were smoking.
In case you kids are wondering how that is done, Houston explains:
“You put your marijuana, you lace it, you roll it up and you smoke it.”
Houston then went on to describe emotional and physical abuse she suffered at the hands of Brown, describing him to be her drug of choice.
“[He]was very much the father, he was very much the man. He was very much in control. I liked that. When he said something, I listened. I was very interested in having someone have that kind of control over me. It was refreshing.” She called Brown her “drug,” saying: “I didn’t do anything without him. I wasn’t getting high by myself. It was me and him together. We were partners.”
I have watched some of the interview. What I found most interesting was Houston’s attempt to remind Oprah that she never smoked crack-that she had an expensive cocaine habit. No one wants the Mighty O to assume they’re poor.
As for Brown, he has released no statment as of yet. I am betting on him getting a book deal out of this mess where he will not only tell his side of the story, but also throw in some really juicy tid-bits like why Whitney enjoyed yelling “BOBBY!!!” at the top of her lungs while the two filmed the reality show ‘Being Bobby Brown’.
