Patrick Swayze Has Passed Away

Rest in peace, Patrick Swayze.
The actor who starred in movie hits such as “Dirty Dancing” (”Nobody puts Baby in a corner”), “Ghost”, and “Point Break”, has succumbed to the pancreatic cancer from which he was suffering.
His publicist said that he passed away with family at his side. While we all knew this day would come, it doesn’t make it any easier to deal with. He was a great actor and a fighter.
Upon hearing of Patrick’s passing, Kirstie Alley tweeted, “Oh my…I just heard about Patrick…unreal…Lisa, here if you need me. I will always cherish my amazing memories of Patrick…we had so much fun together…come back soon Patrick, we need you here on earth.”
Ryan Seacrest said, “Sad! Patrick Swayze passed away peacefully today with family at his side after facing the challenges of his illness for the last 20 months.”
He is survived by his wife, Lisa Niemi. He was 57-years-old.
Our hearts go out to the Swayze family and all who were touched by his talents. It’s a sad day. RIP.
