Kris Allen Debuts New Single
Season 8 American Idol Winner Kris Allen’s new single has finally been revealed. The song, “Live Like We’re Dying” serves as the lead single off his highly anticipated debut album which is scheduled to be released on November 17. The song is a cover from the Irish pop-rock band “The Script.”
“[The song] was actually one that we had listened to really early on, and we kind of just fell in love with it. Everyone did.” says Allen.
Allen is reportedly working with top producers including Salaam Remi and Claude Kelly. Guest appearances on the album may include Joe King of The Fray and The Calling. He will also be working with Kevin Rudolf in October, and is said to be working with two other season 8 Idols, Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert. Time will tell if his new song is a hit, but one thing is clear – Allen has found better musical inspirations since releasing the cheesy Idol winning song “No Boundaries,” that was co-written by judge Kara DioGuardi. I love the song. Very catchy and I can hear it being a big hit on the radio. It is kinda funky and has a great message, cuz you got to Live Like We’re Dying and seize the day.

This song is terrible. Like, so bad I would change the station in the car if it came on terrible. I love(d) Kris Allen, but I think his 15 minutes are almost up… And no, I’m not an Adam Lambert fan. Sorry to all the Kris diehards who can’t imagine someone not liking everything he does. Just my honest opinion.

Yeah right Jennifer, you really love Kris! It’s clear you aren’t a real fan of Kris but a bitterbert. What are you bitterberts so afraid of that you have to attack Kris? Kris’ single is very good and his voice is beautiful. I think you know he is proving why he won and you can’t stand it. Go support your idol and quit wasting your time trying to tear Kris down, because it’s just not going to work.
Jennifer is Marie4thofJuly and she has gone around to every Kris article about his song and posted the same exact thing, but at first she said she was a “glambert” and now she is lying and saying she is not. When they say they are not a Adam Lambert fan that just shows they are. There are many Adam fans who like both of them, but there are a few idiots who still are crying and whining about the out come of the show and Adam is good friends with Kris. Shows how nasty some of the fans are…and Marie4ofjuly is an old lady.

Nooooooooooooooooo! why Kris why? I love you so much and it kills me to say this but honestly I really hate this single. Why cover? why why? I am crossing my fingers right now hopping to hear something original and more Sweet Kris.

I am sorry this is the second release from Kris that sucks. I like the guy, just dont like this or No Boundaries. Seems obvious where Kris is heading which is nowhere fast.
