“Guitar Hero 5″ will making teenaged kids and parents alike jump for joy with their Les Pauls as it makes its way into stores on September 1, 2009.

To tide you over, we’ve some some details on Kurt Cobain’s appearance in the game. The game features 85 cool songs by artists such as Motley Crue, The Beastie Boys, and No Doubt. Nirvana’s frontman makes an appearance in the game as Nirvana belts out the words to “Smells Like Teen Spirit” and “Lithium”…Nice!
