This could be a landmark concert. Justin Timberlake is putting together a benefit concert that is bringing Tionne “T-Boz” Watkins and Rozonda “Chilli” Thomas out.
The group was a mainstay on the Billboards in the 1990’s. They racked up an estimated 22 million dollars in sales. Most notable were their songs “Creep“, “Waterfalls“, “No Scrubs“, and “Unpretty.” Sadly, tragedy stuck the trio. Lisa Lopes, also known as Left Eye, was killed in a car accident in 2002 and the band faced the loss trying to go on without her.
Several solo attempts and even a reality show later, they failed to capture the billboard magic. Timberlake is calling out the girls to join his Oct. 17th concert. Both Watkins and Thomas have agreed and are on the lineup as TLC. Taylor Swift, Ciara and Alicia Keys have also signed on to be a part of his benefit.
The charity concert will benefit children’s hospitals. This is the second year he has hosted the Justin Timberlake Shriners Hospitals for Children Open. Golf and the concert will take place in Vegas at Mandalay Bay. Tickets go sale this weekend.
