Perez Hilton Wants To Be Known As A Racist Instead Of A Homophobe

When Perez Hilton got clocked by Will.I.Am’s manager, Polo Molina, he had started the ruckus by referring to Will as a “f*ggot”. Now, only weeks later, Mario says that he wanted to call him something much worse.

In the latest issue of “The Advocate”, Mario says that he wanted to call Will the “N” word. So, ladies and gents of the gay community, I give you Perez Hilton, the racist pig.

If he were right in what he did, I would be behind him. And not because I like him or anything, because just the opposite is true. This is a man who wants to be known as a gay rights advocate and even appears in a gay and lesbian publication, yet refers to another using such a derogatory word.

Perez sez:

“I thought about calling him the n word, but I thought the f word was even worse. I was so filled with hate at that moment because I was hated on so much, and I reacted in the worst way possible. Then I went on to make a bunch of other mistakes. I shouldn’t have made the video. I shouldn’t have released so many statements. But what’s come out of all of this is that I’ve learned so much about myself, and I’m in a much better place. I’m actually thankful that it happened. As cheesy as it may sound, I had almost a spiritual moment when I just let all of the anger and worry go and am now filled with peace, happiness, and wisdom.”

I can’t believe that either word should have come out of his mouth. Considering how he seemingly wants to help the rights of gays and lesbians, yet does this without apology? Shame, shame.

If it’s a question of whether or not we love him or hate him, I’m going to have to go with hate. This guy is a festering disease on the internet community of which we must be vaccinated.

uhh sweety, he did apologize for using the “f word” maybe you should do your research before going on your own personal rant. you look ignorant

metallic | July 6th, 2009

P.S. that doesnt mean i support or “Love” perez for what he did, but I at least get all sides of the story. Besides, he’s human just like anyone else, and last I checked humans aren’t perfect. You writers spend your entire career bashing on people like Perez, and pointing out his flaws, and when he messes up, you suddenly act shocked that he messed up. uh hello! he isnt perfect, remember? I havent heard anyone bask on the one who started it yet, which was Fergie.

Perez… is that you?

Roberta | July 6th, 2009

GLAAD asked for an apology and he denied them, that was the one I was referring to. Don’t be ignorant yourself. And how can you defend this beast? He wanted to use a RACIAL SLUR against Will.I.Am. There’s no excuse for that.

“You writers spend your entire career bashing on people like Perez, and pointing out his flaws, “….. are you serious METALLIC… that what how he became ‘famous’….. Karma anyone?

Perez Sux | July 7th, 2009

Well said Allie!

Meream | July 7th, 2009

Metallic could be Perez. :D How did Fergie start all this? I really don’t know the details.

Too Through w/Perez | July 8th, 2009

Fergie did nothing more than ask why Perez constantly ragged on her. wil.i.am asked him to please leave her alone. Perez took it there, the video clearly shows he was the one who was the aggressor.. prior to getting clocked.

It’s sad that so much time, ink and attention has been wasted on a mean spirited, social-climbing, no talent wannabee.

I certainly have no respect for Perez Hilton, but I take offense to the fact that you feel the N-word is more offensive than the F-word. It’s comments like yours that give the impression that in this day and age it’s still OK to be homophobic but not racist. Please explain how that works? Both terms are equally offensive and anyone who feels that one term is more offensive than the other has unresolved issues of either homophobia or racism of their own that they need to work through. Discrimination and hate apply equally to race, gender and sexual orientation.

I went back and read through the entire post. I also read through each comment. NOT one person said the F-word was less offensive than the N-word. Frankly, they are both unacceptable. Unless we all stop using them, then our children and our children’s children won’t either.
