Michael Jackson Fans Committing Suicide

At least 12 Michael Jackson fans have killed themselves over the loss of their favorite pop star according to new reports.
On Thursday June 25th, the world lost two beloved icons. Jackson and Farrah Fawcett both died as the result of long stand health issues. For most, the normal state of grieving took effect while others took it to extremes. The founder of an online Michael Jackson fan club has claimed that several fans have taken their own lives because the grief was too much and they wanted to be with their beloved pop icon.
“Gary Taylor, president and owner of MJJcommunity.com, says, “I know there has been an increase (in deaths), I now believe the figure is 12. It is a serious situation that these people are going through but Michael Jackson would never want this. He would want them to live.
They (fans) can’t accept it, they feel in some sort of different reality. I’m stunned that he’s dead. One minute he is coming here for concerts and the next he is gone. I think the funeral will be where the reality kicks in that he is gone and won’t be coming back, there will be a huge depression in the fan community when that happens.”
Reverend Jesse Jackson has even chimed in on the situation asking fans not to fall to the grief and craziness.
“This is a time when hearts are heavy. There is great pain but great cause to celebrate Michael’s life. It made Michael happy saying ‘We Are The World’. Don’t self-destruct. We fall down sometimes, we get back up. That’s the right thing to do. In Michael’s name let’s live together as brothers and sisters and not die apart as fools.”
Fans who aren’t crazy are planning a vigil for Michael at the 02 Arena in London on July 13th. This was the date he was due to start his comeback tour in Europe. Jackson will also be laid to rest after a concrete cause of death is found. His father, Joe Jackson, stated that they are not closing the funeral to the public. Joe was also snubbed in Michael’s will. The two have had a long standing feud after allegations of abuse surfaced.

When I found out that some of his fans where committing suicide it was shocking as was his sudden death. I would like tell his fans that are taking his sudden passing hard to remember that he is at peace now. Michael Jackson is no longer suffering in pain and he would not want any of his fans to hurt themselves, but to remember for his wonderful attributes.

There is no proof of this at all. Sorry. I’ve been on that forum for a while and though I’ve seen people who are deeply depressed by it, I have not once seen the proof that anyone has committed suicide. Most are still very much around, and the ones who left, left the forum for a while because they wanted to face the goodbye alone and in their own way. I’ve not seen one fraction of evidence that anyone actually killed themselves. This is sensationalist bullshit, just like most “news” about Michael always has been and still is.

I do not believe that people are commiting suicide because of Michael’s death. I do believe that this story was made up.

If this is true, than sorry, but these people are pathetic…. Why the fuck would you kill yourself because some dude (yeah yeah he made great music) that they never met dies…. really what is this world coming to

If this is true about the suicides then it is crazy and we know that this is NOT what Michael would have wanted. People, you have to try and be happy he is no longer suffering the pain of his life and is at peace. Pray for his children and go on living the best you can. That is what Michael would want.
And he will always be in our harts.
