Kelly Clarkson gave a recent interview to Jordan on Australian show “The Fix” where she talked about her album, her influences, and the style of music on her new record.

So, tell us about your new album, “All I Ever Wanted”

Umm..Well, it was a little bit of everything on there. I like a lot of different styles of music and I worked with a lot of different people. So there’s some urban, some dance, some pop/rock, there’s some country influence on song writing in there and I dunno, there’s even a little bit of punk.

What’s the craziest thing you’ve ever heard about yourself in the media?

Ohhh..umm…basically any picture that I’m in with a guy, I’m dating. They said I was booed off of an airplane once, and I think I’d remember. So that didn’t happen. I dunno, I’ve heard some pretty crazy — but not too much, though. I pretty much stay out of the limelight a lot. I don’t live in L.A. or New York, I live in Texas, so people don’t care.

Interviewer pauses and apologizes to which Kelly says, “You’re fine. I’m distracting with my beauty.”

Oh my God, don’t be. I probably need something because I won’t shut up. I’ve had some Coke. Like Coca-Cola! [Screams] I mean Coca-Cola! Like caffeine! I’ve never done Coke! Whatever! Oh, don’t you think I’d be thinner if I’d actually done that! I’m obviously not a cokehead.
