Oh sweet Gucci. This is ridiculous. The patron saint of wombs and foreign babies is after Obama’s job.

According to the Express, Angelina Jolie is “bored” with acting and wants to take her humanitarian super powers to the White House. Jolie has been a UN goodwill ambassador for the past eight years. Her current desire is to branch out into politics and quit acting.

“A friend said: “Ange has admitted she’s getting bored with Hollywood. She said she’s now got her sights set on Washington.”

“She is passionate about people’s rights, war and justice and thinks she can get more hands-on and make even more of a difference by getting into politics. She admires Obama and thinks she could make a big difference too if she were in his position.”

She does understand that being President is about more than dodging Ryan Seacrest on red carpet events and holding starving African children for photo ops…right?

“The friend continues: “I would place a huge wager on her becoming the first female president in the next 20 years. When Ange sets her mind on something, she goes all out to do it. She’s very determined and gets very stirred by her UN work. She is well respected for her humanitarian work and I’m sure she would make as many waves if she moved fully into the political world.”

This goes against several admissions she has made about never going into politics. After a speech she made in DC she joked with a senator about never being able to run for office because of “too many skeletons” in her closet And with Angie I wouldn’t be surprised if actual skeletons were indeed in her closet.
