Adam Lambert Gay About Being Gay

American Idol runner up Adam Lambert is tickled pink to be out of the closet. At this point I am asking myself what was the name of the dude who actually won Idol. Lambert has been kicking up a media storm and completely overshadowing whatshisname. (I am joking. I am sure Simon Cowell has some tricks up his sleeve for Kris Albert…Alred..er…Allen. Yes, Kris Allen.)

Adam scored the cover of Rolling Stone after having a small war Clay Aiken. The two exchanged catty comments and Clay was subsequently forgotten about. Lambert confirmed his sexuality in the magazine. It was obvious from the start the flamboyant Idol preferred men. He never hid his penchant for guyliner or swapping slobber with other guys. Several photos of him kissing other men and in drag left no real question. He explained that he didn’t come out on the show because he wanted people to focus on his singing ability.

“[It would have been] so sensationalized that it would overshadow what I was there to do, which was sing. It’s not like I was holding back before,” Lambert explained to Us Thursday. “I was being myself, but it’s nice to have everything out in the open.”

This is reassuring as I am not sure how much more flamboyant you can get. Aside from constantly wearing tail feathers and shooting glitter out of his eyes. Regardless, I say good for him. This was brilliant press for him and had he outed himself during the show I think it be a different Idol on the cover.

Wrong. The editor of Rolling Stone has already said that Lambert was always going to have the cover. Win or lose, coming out or no coming out.

This story is rediculous, everyone should know gay doesnt go well in America these days or any day ahead. Kris Allen won for talent, and maybe having a decent look? Yea. who ever wrote this article im guessing is very liberal and doesnt know that being gay isnt the pride of our society today :) THANK THE LORD.

Hey Amy…what’s your problem. “Gay doesn’t go well in America…” Are you kidding me. Gay people don’t choose to be gay. They are born that way. If you don’t get it, I suggest you research the subject. Kris is a decent guy I guess, but he’s not as good as the singer down the street. Adam is special with his supreme talent, and if you don’t realize that, YOU don’t well in America.
