New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez knows how to round the bases. And he’s keeping his blonde streak alive after being spotted with another celebrity blonde, Kate Hudson. The last time Rodriguez and Hudson were linked together back in January, they were spotted on a dinner date and out at a bar together. At the time, Kate’s rep claimed that they were just with a group of friends at the time. Mmmhmmm sure…

Well, this past Friday Kate was seen cheering on A-Rod at a Yankees game. That night, the two were apparently making out in the back room of the Mustang Grill restaurant.

“Staff were asking patrons not to go in the back room around 1am because A-Rod and Kate Hudson were back there making out,” claims an onlooker. A waitress also confirmed the pair were at the eatery, celebrating Alex’s team’s win. She said: “Yes, they were here together.”

Over the weekend, Kate and A-Rod were seen leaving his apartment on Central Park West. The pair first met at the reopening of the “Fontainebleau Hotel” in Miami Beach last November. Hudson was married to rocker Chris Robinson for six years until their split in 2006. The couple have a son together, Ryder Robinson. Since the breakup, Hudson has been making the rounds herself, dating actors Owen Wilson, Dax Shepard and Tour de France biker Lance Armstrong. Alex was married to ex-wife Cynthia and had two daughters together before their divorce last year after she claimed he had “an affair of the heart” with Madonna.

The ick-factor and STD-risk on this is so high its not funny. At least Hudson is a more age-appropriate celebrity for A-Rod to spend his lonely nights with.
