Joel Madden Hearts Matt Giraud

Matt Giraud may have lost the American Idol title, but he has made a new BFF. That’s the real prize here people.
After being saved once by the judges panel of Idol, they could nothing a second time as he was voted out of the cool kid table hosting strong>Allison Iraheta and Adam Lambert. But that’s ok with Matty Cakes. He is now sitting at an even cooler kid table. Good Charlotte’s Joel Madden is a fan of Timberlake 2.0.
“Joel’s like, ‘Yeah, man, come over and jam anytime,’” reports Giraud, who met the musician and his girlfriend Nicole Richie while out to dinner one night. “It’s kind of crazy. I still get freaked out when I meet famous people and they know who I am. I just try to stay humble and don’t think of yourself as too big before you are.”
It’s true. I am jealous. I’d love to kick it with Joel and Nicole. Our kids could have play dates and Jonathan Rhys Meyers (he will be playing my lover in this scenario) and I could have them over for dinner. I am thinking salmon.
