Exclusive Interview: Stephanie Pratt From ‘The Hills’
I had the opportunity to speak with Stephanie Pratt from ‘The Hills’ today. She was the nicest and sweetest person ever!

She dished on the season finale of the show, along with the paparazzi attention, and her past addiction.
Check it out!
Hi Stephanie, this is Roberta from Allie Is Wired, and first of all I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to speak with me today. How are you?
I am good , thanks. I’m just exhausted from this season.
Now that you’re a regular cast member on “The Hills”, how has that changed things for you?
It’s a lot more stressful to have a lot more drama in my life. I take a lot of that baggage home with me at night.
And your relationship with your brother, has that changed at all for the better or for the worse?
It has helped him so much. He’s been so nice to me. He’s in such a good place.
Do you have to deal with the paparazzi following you around yet?
Last night I went to this bar and it was the first bad experience I’ve had with the paparazzi. The paparazzi kept saying “Stephanie got fat!” That was the worst experience so far.
I can imagine that would be difficult to cope with. You already have cameras filming you 24/7 and then the paparazzi off-set, I think that would be hard to deal with.
Definitely. They’re at all of our scenes and Heidi and my brother are so interesting that they’re always around.

I understand if this is a sensitive topic and you don’t want to respond, but can I ask how you’ve overcome your addiction to drugs? You’ve really come a long way.
I definitely want to tell my story at one point. When I was going through rehab, my mom was reading all these books first – how someone came through this….and I want to come out on top – it was really hard. It didn’t happen after my first time…it happened after three times. I’ve been sober since I was 20.
Thank you so much for saying that, I really appreciate it.
Might you consider writing a book? Maybe as a way to serve as an inspiration to others?
That would be the best gift to my mom, but I really don’t want to take on the pressure of being a role model. I’m not perfect.
You’re on a show that has a lot of backstabbing and fighting, do you ever get tired of that?
The fights are really hard. I remember Spencer not talking to me last season, it was really hard. There haven’t been too many fights this season. But it’s really hard and it’s for all of America to see.
Can I tell you about the season finale of the show?
Of course.
The season finale is in two weeks on May 31st at 8pm. It’s an hour long show and it’s going to be the last minute details of the wedding. It’s really amazing. It airs right before the MTV Movie Awards.
What is it like to air your dirty laundry on the show all of the time?
It’s like you do the show and forget that there are cameras there. Then you watch it like two weeks later, it’s weird that you forget the things that come out of your mouth. On the Hawaii episode, there was a lot of drama. But it’s really fun, it’s like a video diary of your twenties and with my brother.
What’s next for you after The Hills? Do you see a spinoff in your future?
The Hills is just getting started with Kristin Cavallari coming to the show.

Kristin is replacing Lauren?
No, no one’s replacing Lauren. No one could ever replace Lauren.
When do you think the end will come for The Hills?
We’ll have to see how the episodes with Kristin Cavallari turn out. But we all still have our stories to tell.
Well, that’s all of my questions. Again, thank you so much for taking the time to speak with me. We’re all looking forward to the season finale in two weeks.
Thank you!
