Courtney Love Sued By AmEx; Calls B.S.
Earlier today, we found out that Courtney Love had gotten herself into some pretty tremendous debt with American Express. To the tune of $352,659.67, divided among three credit cards.

Love is being sued for the unpaid balance, along with damages, attorney’s fees, and late charges after she reportedly “failed and refused” to make the payments.
$350,000+ sure does buy a lot of dead birds in boxes, doesn’t it? Oh wait, that’s art!
Court is officially calling B.S. on the credit card fiasco, with her mouthpiece, Larry Fink, saying that the charges are all bogus.
Fink says, “AmEx knows the claim has no merit. We have told them this for a long time. AmEx’s law policies allowed fraudulent transactions to be charged to my client’s card.”
Fink also added that 104 AmEx credit cards were taken out under Courtney’s name or the name of her business – and that all the charges attributed to Courtney weren’t made by her. He also said it doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure out nobody takes out 104 credit cards.
