She famously said in one of her songs that she wouldn’t go to rehab but there was no mention of hospitals which was lucky because that’s where she spent last night.

Amy Winehouse is on a long term holiday in the Caribbean island of St Lucia but it seems the sun, sea, sand and…. sangria (I know what you were thinking! shame on you!) got the better of her and she was rushed to hospital suffering ‘dehydration’ – so her spokesperson says!

The troubled Grammy winner had been pictured playing and dancing around with some local children during yesterday which may have contributed to her ‘exhaustion.’

Her publicist in the UK, Chris Goodman said:

“She fainted at home and they took her in for observation, mainly to do with her medication to check everything was ok.”

Her recent heartache probably hasn’t helped matters; Her hubby Blake Fielder Civil is reportedly expecting a baby with a woman he met at a rehabilitation clinic in Sheffield, UK.
