Wired Music: Simon Cowell Talks About Susan Boyle
Simon Cowell was on “The Late Late Show With Craig Ferguson“, where he talked about internet singing sensation Susan Boyle.

He says, “We were in Glasgow and we weren’t having a great day…it was a long day. When we doing the auditions I don’t know who’s ever going to come on and on this show we have the audience behind us. This little old lady came out… I asked her how old she was and she said she was 47. She looked about 80 to be honest with you…Alright, 78.”
“And the audience were laughing at her. I was like ‘oh this is going to last 5 seconds let’s get on with it.’ And then she started to sing…and it was just one of those special special auditions.”
Simon says that after the clip he said that he told Susan that he had a feeling she was going to be fantastic. You know that’s a lie. The look on his face said what he was thinking.
Simon goes on to say that he’s been thinking of making her story into a movie. With over 100 million hits on YouTube, I’d say that he’d better get right on that.
It’s just shameful for him to have mocked her the way he did, yet he’ll exploit her for all she’s worth.
