Steve-O & Lacey Schwimmer Booted From ‘Dancing With The Stars’

By Roberta | April 15, 2009

After scoring poorly for quite some time, Steve-O and his partner, professional dancer, Lacey Schwimmer, were eliminated from “Dancing With The Stars” yesterday.

The judges didn’t quite enjoy their rumba, which earned the pair a terrible score of 16 out of 30. Head judge Len Goodman said, “You can’t confuse movement with dancing. There was no hip action, there was no footwork and it was no good.”

Steve-O felt differently, saying that it was his best dance yet and that the low scores surprised him. Unlike previous Dancing reject, David Alan Grier, Steve-O took the loss in stride.

He says, “I met a lot of challenges, I made a lot of mistakes and the fans kept me around long enough to learn from it all. It’s forced me to grow as a person and for that I’m very grateful.”

After the elimination, he thanked Schwimmer for her patience, saying, “Sometimes I tend to manstruate.”

Seven celebrities remain in the competition: Lil Kim, Ty Murray, Lawrence Taylor, Shawn Johnson, Chuck Wicks, Melissa Rycroft and Gilles Marini.
