It was the Spice Girls who brought new meaning and importance to Girl Power and friendship but now it looks like an unlikely pair will carry on their legacy.

Caribbean star Rihanna and pop songstress Katy Perry are the new Best Friends (BF’s) that everyone is talking about – a rather unlikely pair to do girly lunches and shopping trips together.

According to my spies Katy was there for Rihanna during her ordeal with boyfriend Chris Brown who was arrested for assaulting her in February. Apparently the pair have been inseparable ever since with Katy taking Rihanna out for girly nights out – the perfect way to mend a broken heart in my opinion!

Can girls really be best friends though? The track record doesn’t look good…
