Jamie Foxx Apologizes Over Miley Cyrus Rant

By Roberta | April 15, 2009

When Jamie Foxx unleashed his awful rant over Miley Cyrus’ teenaged antics, it caused quite the stir. Someone must’ve forgotten they’ve got a movie to promote.

He said, “Make a sex tape and grow up… Get like Britney Spears and do some heroin… be like Lindsay Lohan and get some crack in your pipe… Catch chlamydia on a bicycle seat.”

Now, he’s saying that it’s all in the name of comedy and he didn’t mean anything by it. On last night’s “Tonight Show“, Jay Leno asked, “Did you say something inappropriate?”

Foxx admitted, “Yeah,” then took a few breaths for good measure. Continuing, he said, “I so apologize to [Cyrus], and this is sincere. I am a comedian, and you guys know that whatever I say, I don’t mean any of it. And sometimes, as comedians, as we do, we go a little bit too far.”

He adds, “I have a radio show…We’re really the black Howard Stern. We go at everybody. There was a situation with Miley Cyrus, and I just want to say, I apologize for what I said. I didn’t mean it maliciously. You know I’m a comedian. You know my heart.”

Then, Jamie turned to the camera and said, “Miley, I apologize, so I’ll call you. I got a daughter too, so I completely understand.”

Even I can’t stand Miley Cyrus to any degree, but he took it just a little too far. Your thoughts?

Heeey! Truth be told Miley needs to chill out on busting loose and becoming a teen woman with her older lover and act more like her age and dress and speak less like a stupid slump..
those words didn’t innocently just fly out of his mouth, he’s hearing what everyone thinks and says about her, and they must hate and despise her in the liberal camp.

No matter what Miley said there is no excuse - much less comedy - for Mr. Foxx’ comments. He seeks to inflame back bigotry - that much is obvious. He wants to pander to those bigots among his racial group just as much as the southern white bigots of old used to do. In short Mr. Foxx is an asshole who seeks to perpetuate the gulf between whites and black whether he knows it or not. If he knows it he should be hung; if he fails to recognize his incendiary remarks then he needs to be deemed just another asshole. In either event he needs to be punished at least as much as the many whites have been punished in the past 50 years for their racist remarks. Allowing this panderer to bigots continue unscathed is the same as praising bigotry whether white or black. Mr. Foxx is part of the problem and no BS apology relative to his alleged comedy is acceptable. Let’s hear him use his “humor” to criticize Oprah as a black bitch who should take heroin etc. before anyone even considers giving him a free pass. This fool needs to experience real racism before he can be absolved of his sins.

BS! Jaime Foxx is such a fcukin douche bag! How dumb does he think that the general public is that he can give that dumb a$$ excuse and think that all is well? If it weren’t for his publicist and the movie studios pressuring him to make an apology, would anyone actually believe that he’d do it on his own accord? Fcukin Douche!

All this rant of Miley Cyrus’s diva-like behavior, what does he think that his rant was? The EXACT SAME THING! Especially with that half-a$$ed effort of an excuse! He’s pretty much guilty of the same thing!

Also, I heard on a radio show that Jaime Foxx once didn’t want to wait in line for the restrooms at a club and walked all the way up to be next. But the guy that was next was like “I’ll be damned if he cuts in front of me!” He walked in with Foxx and they both peed in the same toilet at the same time! Guess that wasn’t “diva-like” behavior right Jaime? You are a fcukin douche bag!

The ‘Soloist’ looks great and I hope that it does well because of Robert Downey Jr and everybody else that’s a part of the movie, but as for Foxx, I hope that this “JOKE” will cause a huge backlash and result in him not winning any awards for his role and also that all the studios will have second thoughts on asking Foxx to play another role in any of their movies again!

JAMIE FOXX IS A DISGUSTING PERVERT! HE MADE SEXUAL COMMENTS ABOUT A CHILD! I DON’T CARE WHO HER PARENTS ALLOW HER TO DATE! PLEASE LET’S NOT BLAME THE VICTIM! IT WASN’T A COMEDIC THING HE DID! IT WASN’T AN “OOPS MY BAD” KIND OF MOMENT!
HE SHOULD BE CONDEMNED FOR WHAT HE SAID NOT HELD UP AND PRAISED FOR APPOLOGIZING! HE SHOULD COME OUT ON A STAGE WITH MILEY AND APPOLOGIZE TO HER AND HER PARENTS FOR SAYING WHAT HE SAID!

i think its stupid that he apologized because their no point of him saying he is a “comedian”.. because he took it to another level. She is 16 and he is to old to be saying that much things that are that inappropriate. He just should have never said any of it to begin with.. I dont forgive him for doing that to Miley and I dont think Miley should forgive him either. so peace out JAMIE you’re a loser :P
