Carrie Underwood Regrets Matthew McConaughey Sex Joke

Apparently Carrie Underwood is a dirty girl.
While accepting one of her awards at this year’s American Country Music Awards she made a joke in reference to wanting to spread for Matthew McConaughey. Before Matt present the accolade he had entertained the crowd with a story about luring women to his car with a phony story about George Strait’s boots. He told the naïve ladies that he and his brothers designed Strait’s footwear. He continued his lie to his conquests….
“Say, as I a matter of fact, out in the parking lot, in the trunk of our white Corvette, we have the next year’s new edition white ostrich quill George Strait signed series that he’s gonna wear on tour next year.’ And they got pretty excited about that and said, ‘Well, can we see? Can we see? Can we see?’” McConaughey told the audience. “And we obliged … Point of the story is, we got lucky that night. Thank you, George.”
After he told the story and presented Underwood with her winnings she was speechless. Literally. She said the first thing came to her mind. Which just happened to be “I don’t know what to say. I got nothin’ … I want to see those boots, Matthew.”
The crowd found it amusing but Carrie regrets cracking the joke as Matt’s baby-momma probably didn’t appreciate it. She apologized profusely.
“I’m so embarrassed, I totally embarrassed myself. I just blanked,” Underwood told Tarts backstage, burying her head in her hands. “You want to say something eloquent in a moment like that and I embarrassed myself. I’m sorry Matthew, I’m sorry to my family. I’m totally embarrassed.”
Maybe I am just being hard on McConaughey, but does any one else find his story a bit disturbing?

I don’t think she should regret it at all. It was funny. Everyone laughed, Matthew laughed, I laughed. It really shouldn’t be a big deal at all.

People get their “knickers in a knot” over the most ridiculous things! What she said was funny; he didn’t say or do anything that thousands of other people haven’t already done. I didn’t hear everyone up in arms over Reba’s comment about her and George Clooney!
