A young actress who starred in a BAFTA award winning BBC show has been found dead days after the series she starred in was cancelled.

22 year old actress, Stephanie Parker had been in the Welsh drama ‘Belonging’ since she was 15 as well as small roles for hospital drama ‘Casualty’ and police drama ‘The Bill.’

Her body was found by a member of the public early in public grounds in South Wales early Saturday morning.

Stephanie played Stacey Weaver in the program but it was axed after nine series to make way for a new Welsh flagship show.

A BBC spokesperson said Stephanie was an ‘immensely talented’ young actress.
Police say there are no suspicious circumstances relating to her death.
