Wired Music: Britney Spears Plans Australian Tour

Britney Spears has plans to do her first tour in Australia. Concert promoters have been in talks with Brit’s people and tour dates are expected to be announced sometime later this year.

A source confirms the news of an Aussie showing, saying, “All the promoters are vying for it, but the bottom line is she really wants to come here and she really wants to come here this year.”

Her Circus tour features four acts: Circus, House of Fun, Freakshow/Peepshow, and Electro-Circ.

There were also rumors floating around that Madonna would be joining her on stage tonight at her concert in Uniondale, New York. Britney’s blog refuted the claims and said that they were unaware of any collaborations with any other artists.

Given that the Pussycat Dolls are not performing tonight, I’d have to wonder who they’re going to replace them with?

Any thoughts?
