Lauren Conrad’s Fashion Line Hiatus
The most tolerable ho of the “The Hills” cast is going under. Spencer Pratt and Heidi Montag are getting his and hers botox in celebration of her failure.
Lauren Conrad’s snooze heavy collection is getting a makeover due to poor sales. Er…I mean the recession. Well, that’s what reps are claiming anyway. After pulling Conrad’s clothes from shelves at Kitson and Bloomingdales, the line is on “hiatus” and Lauren will be making official statements soon.
“In light of the economic climate, Lauren has decided to completely rethink her line. Lauren is going to revamp her line and design with more high-end fabrics . . . things she couldn’t do the first time around,” a source close to Conrad said. Her rep told us, “With everything going on in the economy and in her life, she wants to rework her line and offerings. She will make announcements soon.”
Don’t hold your breath for those “announcements” any time soon. Her collection has been fading slowly for months. Clerks at Kitson squealed that her stuff just doesn’t sell. The words overpriced and boring were also thrown around. (Personally…her designs are dull and talentless. How hard is it to design a grey tank top? Hello Old Navy.)
I wouldn’t be surprised if this hiatus becomes permanent. Oh well. There’s always her show “Laguna Beach.” Oh…that’s over. Well she will just have to rely on “The Hills.” Er…that’s over too? Better get in line at the unemployment office behind Lindsay Lohan honey. You’re going to have to work for those extensions.

[...] Lauren Conrad’s own fashion collection is being put on hiatus due to lack of sales, or is it the recession? Likely both, and probably that her clothing isn’t appealing to the mass. [...]
