American Idol has been rumored to be fixed since the show started. Of course in a situation like A.I. there is little to be done to prove the scandal.

However, one of the staff members for the show is running their mouth. Spies lurk everywhere, even the Idol set, and caught the ear of one. The furious staffer was bitching about the fix. Apparently the producers for the show have picked the Final 4 from the current 11 hopefuls. A Gatecrasher spy reported the ramblings of the disgruntled worker.

“The female “AI” worker told a “group of people that the last four are going to be Danny Gokey, Lil Rounds, Adam Lambert and Alexis Grace,” said our insider. Asked if this was opinion or actual fact, the staffer vehemently retorted, “Those ARE the people,” saying it wasn’t mere speculation.”

The report goes on to suggest that the producers are even narrowing the competition down to the final 2 at this point. Why? Ratings of course.

“The producers really want it to be Danny or Alexis. They think they’re very commercially viable, have a good image and a great story.”

Lil Rounds packs the talent, but appears to be too much like past season winner Fantasia. Lambert is said to be “too close” to the style and sound of Chris Daughtry according to the claims. It is also rumored that the loss of Danny’s wife is selling to the A.I. crowd and pulling viewers. You would notice an increased air time for Gokey for this to be true, so pay attention and see what you think this week.

Remember the new rule this week too. Judges have veto power for one lucky contestant. If a person is voted off the show, the judges can veto the axe and save the contestant for that week. However, the following weeks they could go home.
