After the media went nuts probing Jessica Simpson for gaining weight, the reason as to why she looks like Miss Piggy stuffed into high waist jeans and wearing a belt from the closet of one of the contestants from “Rock of Love” have come under fire.

Immediately the fatty finger pointed at boyfriend Tony Romo. The Dallas Cowboys’ quarterback is rumored to be unfaithful. He recently was said to have a soirée at Simpson’s house and banged some trashy brunette in Jess’ bed. Meanwhile she is busy bucking for an engagement ring while her career is sinking.

Sources squealed to Fox News that Romo is the perfect boyfriend and hasn’t even entertained the idea of getting himself some strange.

“Multiple sources close to the couple said that could not be further from the truth. Romo and Simpson are reportedly happier than ever together, the QB has not wandered in his ways and is he is actually more peeved about the fat taunts than even Jessica is – awww.”

The Simpson family is blaming bad angles and poor choices in attire instead.

“She’s a normal girl and like everyone fluctuates a little but there is no way she gained that much weight,” an insider assured Tarts. “It was a really unflattering outfit and a really bad angle. You look at photos taken of her just a couple of weeks earlier and nobody said anything about weight gain, now all of a sudden she’s considered fat. Not possible.”

Too bad she followed the high waist jeans debacle with tight leather skinny pants that were also unflattering. I am guessing there was bad lighting on that day too. Meh…What do expect from someone outwitted by a can of tuna?
