Now that Nicole Richie and boyfriend Joel Madden have announced that they are expecting baby number two, the couple’s friends are gushing about how happy they are for them.

Frienemy Paris Hilton, who was dating Joel’s brother, Benji Madden, said, “I’m so excited for Nicole.” Her mother, Kathy, says that she thinks they’re going to have a baby boy this time around. She says, “I think it’s going to be a boy. I’m never wrong.”

Her “Chuck” co-star Zachary Levi, said, “I think that they’ll be a good unit to hopefully bring up their kids in a way where they are stand-up individuals who lead their generation into being a good one.”

Angie Harmon commented that being a second-time around mom will be much easier for Nicole. She said, “She knows what she’s doing since she already has one.” She also added that Nicole should start a maternity line.

I’m just glad that this announcement isn’t about Paris Hilton procreating. Her seed needs to be stopped, immediately. She was said to have had baby plans with Benji, but that never came to fruition and they stopped dating.

Congratulations to Nicole and Joel. Think they’ll adopt a third child if they have a boy this time around?
