Awwww….now this is a baby I could tolerate. Especially if it had Ellen’s moves and Portia’s hair.

Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi are taking steps to have a baby. The couple were married last summer and plan on having a baby. They are hoping for a boy, but are adamant that a healthy baby is all they really want. Portia is rumored to be starting fertility treatments after she gains a few pounds. Adoption isn’t being ruled out either. Ellen mentioned that she would love to give a child a home.

“There are times when I think I’d be really selfish not to adopt a child. It’d be great to spend our lives with somebody, a little child that really needs a home.”

So does this mean no more Ellen on tv? It could. DeGeneres has mentioned on more than one occasion that she’d like to take some time away from it all. In 2010 her contract for her talk show ends. So it might be wise to keep your plans for week day early evenings open. Their baby plans seem to be coming fast.

“(de Rossi) is prepared to go through it (IVF) 10 times if she has to. Whatever it takes to get pregnant, she’ll do it. She’s been changing her eating habits. Her goal is to gain a few pounds before they start the IVF process.”

Does this mean I will have to go back with my tail between my legs to Oprah?
