On Friday, Rihanna turned 21-years-old and over the weekend, she decided to hang out with her circle of friends. Even though he just beat her a couple of weeks beforehand, Chris Brown was calling her up.

An insider says, “Chris called Rihanna to wish her a happy birthday. He’s absolutely trying to get back into her good graces. He knows he’s very much in the doghouse right now, and is doing everything he can to show her how sorry he is.”

WTF? The doghouse? He needs to be in the big house. Words can’t express the beat down that Chris deserves for what he did to her.

He has reportedly sent her a diamond bracelet and necklace along with an iPod Touch to try to smooth things over with Rihanna.

The attention and gifts might actually be working, a source claims. A snitch says, “Rihanna so wanted Chris with her on her big day, but obviously realizes why they can’t be together right now. But it’s becoming more and more clear that she can’t be without him.”

Let’s hope for her sake that she doesn’t take that d-bag back. After seeing that picture of what he did to her, it makes me cringe that she’d actually let him have the chance to hurt her again.
