Wired Contest: 80′s Name That Tune!

We’re having Flashback Friday here at Allie Is Wired and you get to have fun with us!

Remember the 80′s? Everything was all about Madonna-inspired hair bows, Hypercolor t-shirts, and rubber bracelets. It was a really good decade for music, indeed.

We are big fans of the 80′s and have for you our own version of 80′s Name That Tune.


To help you along, the picture above shows several of the artists that are in the song.

The prize is a $25 Best Buy gift card. To enter, leave a comment with the artist’s names and song titles. Update: Please email me directly with your guesses at mailATrobertafergusonDOTcom. Thank you!

I apologize for the song quality in song #14, it’s an old one and the quality was somewhat less than desirable. It runs from 2:05 through 2:21, so you can turn it up. But it’s still a goodie, so I didn’t want to leave it out.

Enjoy the contest! It runs from today, January 30th until February 13th. The people with all of the correct answers will go into a random drawing.

Of course the song title shows up as “Eyes Without A Face” by Billy Idol, so there’s your start.

Um…I know every single one of the songs and even the bands in the picture but if entereing is only by leaving a comment and then everyone with correct answers will be entered from that, wouldn’t everyone after the FIRST person to put answers down just most likely copy those and then get entered too? Doesn’t really seem fair for me to list my answers adn then have them copied yet everyone else gets entered just like me! Shouldn’t it be the first person to entere teh correct answers instead?

Ah, sadly, it is true. I’ve seen Def Leppard 5 times SINCE the 90′s. Horribly pathetic, I know, but what can I say?
