Twilight Perfume Faces Lawsuit
By Allie | January 15, 2009
The makers of the new Twlight perfume seem to have used the exact same design bottle as ‘Nina’ by Nina Ricci.

The bottle is so similar that even the leaves on the top look the same; the only difference seems to be the color and of course, the box.
The apple shape invokes the image of forbidden fruit, and although this seems to fit in with the Twilight theme, the Nina Ricci one came first so maybe they might want to think about changing that.
Nina Ricci has confirmed that they will be taking legal action against the makers of the Twilight perfume.

Seeing as the trademark and domain name http://www.TwilightPerfume.com belongs to a UK company called NEWLONDONMEDIA.net i think that the twilight perfume makers are going to be sued again and even harder.

IFF.COM ARE GOING TO BE SUED FOR £10 MILLION FOR MAKING A PERFUME CALLED TWILIGHT AS ARE THE TWILIGHT MOVIE MAKERS FOR THEIR VERSION AND BOTH PARTIES ARE GOING TO BE SUED BY NEW LONDON MEDIA (.NET) OWNERS OF THE IDEA FOR TWILIGHT PERFUME AND OWNERS OF THE TWILIGHTPERFUME.COM DOMAIN NAME AS PROOF.
THIS IS NOT THE FIRST TIME IFF.COM HAVE BEEN SUED SUCCESSFULLY. GOOGLE “IFF.COM SUED” AND SEE FOR YOURSELF. ITS PRETTY EVIDENT THAT IFF.COM MAKE UNSAFE PRODUCTS WITH THEIR HISTORY OF BEING SUED FOR POISONING PEOPLE, SO ITS PROBABLY A FAIR THING TO ASSUME THE SARAH JESSICA PARKER TWILIGHT PERFUME WILL BE DANGEROUS FOR YOU ANYWAY.
LOOKS LIKE THEIR PATENT LAWYER & SO CALLED INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY SPECIALIST JOSEPH LEIGHTNER WILL BE GETTING THE BOOT TOO :O)
