She checked into rehab less than a month ago. Reid checked herself into Promises Treatment Center on December 12th and spent a total of 22 days getting sober. Then she sported her botched plastic surgery woes to several magazine outlets and made some more scratch to add to the vodka fund. Although her reps wouldn’t say what she was being treated for, we can safely assume she wasn’t there to work on depression and fatigue issues like Kristen Dunst tried to claim.

Tara Reid checked out on Saturday and her friends and family are trying to remain optimistic despite her early departure.

“She’s doing well. The whole family is very positive about this being the new beginning for her. They are taking steps to do everything they can to help Tara keep on the right track.”

She also told People in October that she was just a “social drinker” but insisted that she was sober and clean.

I am not sure if toasting the mail man and doing shots while watching “Friends” reruns constitutes as “social drinking.”
