Britney’s Facebook Requires a Harvard Graduate Degree
Want to manage Britney Spears’ online persona?
She’s on YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, MySpace, her official website and other sites, and somebody (not her of course) has to do all the hard work of posting and responding to content.
That’s where you come in.
Brandcasting Unlimited, Britney’s online manager, posted the job listing for “Britney Spears 2.0 Media Manager” yesterday on a Harvard-only private job board.
Among the not-so-tough job requirements: you must be “addicted to social networks such as MySpace and Facebook.”
However, you also must have a Harvard Graduate Degree. I guess they want to make sure that the person is smarter than Britney?
Quite frankly, I can’t imagine a Harvard Grad who feels MySpace and Facebook rules their lives.
However, if this sounds like your dream job, the entire ad is shown below:

“I can’t imagine a Harvard Grad who feels MySpace and Facebook rules their lives.”
Haha. Well… I guess every rule has a few exceptions…
I’m seriously considering this job.
I am using all of the above social media to promote “Adventures Of A Faux Escort (AOAFE) my blog about how me and my friends run a fake escort service in Hollywood so we can live like Lauren Conrad on “The Hills.”
I am currently sponsoring a video contest on FB to help find my director so we can create web episodes on our YT channel.
AOAFE is having awesome success and my budget is really small so with Britney’s money and connections being her 2.0 media manager would be a piece of cake.
I’m guessing the Harvard thing is because Joe is an ’03 grad and alumn help each other out.
What is interesting is there is nothing online about this media company, Brandcasting Unlimited. How can they help Britney if they can’t even promote their own business?
Just to note… as an MIT grad student, I think it’s perfectly reasonable to look for social-network addicts in Cambridge. Harvard and MIT nerds aren’t really so nerdy. And sites like twitter, facebook, etc. are popular beyond belief and growing almost exponentially (especially facebook)… it’s really pretty fascinating.
